Re: The Long Walk - Part 1
Mizzari glanced around at her surroundings, at total peace in Joseph's arms. She smiled, then frowned slightly when he spat upon a sign. She was not sure what it said, but it must have angered him. "What is wrong Joseph?" She asked in confusion, trying to figure out the sign and tilting her head this way and that to attempt to read it. Mizzari wanted to ask him what it said, but was slightly ashamed she could not read, she remained silent about this fact and loked up at him, wondering what he was thinking.

Joseph smirked, "Nothing's wrong, I just hate this city.. Or rather.. what this city used to be. It was a monument to the greed and frailty of the human race. It disgusted me when it stood, and it disgusts me still now that it's fallen." Joseph growled before taking on a lighter tone, nuzzling Mizzari's cheek, "It's ok, I'm fine." He smiled softly.

She hung upon his words with a heavy heart, her eyes' sparkle had faded and dulled sadly, she hated seeing him upset. "I am sorry to hear that, maybe we ought to leave hear quicker." Mizzari said in a comforting voice as she nuzzled his cheek back lovingly, the sparkle returning to her eyes.

Joseph smiled softly, "Yes, we're leaving now actually."
Joseph pulled Mizzari onto his back, wrapping her tail around his waist and holding her up, "Are you ready to continue?"

Mizzari situated herself and fixed her tail to make it not so awkwardly in the way and looked back up at him. "Yes, yes I am my love." She said simply before closing her eyes and relaxing. Mizzari was still a bit tired and thought she would rest her eyes. Her body went limp. She was asleep before she even heard his reply.

Joseph smiled, this was going to be a long walk indeed, but he was happy to share it with the one he loved.
He set off, heading eastward, ready for any adventure that came his way
